Expressive Structures Provides Custom Backdrop for Chicago Tech Awards

Chicago event backdrop company Expressive Structures recently provided a custom backdrop for the 12th Annual Momentum Awards Presented by 1871 and the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center.

Produced by Event Planner Carmel Creative, the Momentum Awards celebrate Chicago’s entrepreneurial community with the presentation of 5 awards to leaders and companies that have made a huge influence on Chicago’s tech ecosystem. This year’s awards ceremony was held at the ultra-modern Aqua Blu Radisson Hotel on Chicago’s Columbus Drive.

For this event, Expressive provided a center backdrop which included 10 hanging banners supported by a 16’ tall x 32’ wide ground supported truss goal post. We also provided a custom 1871-branded podium for the event.

In all, set up for this event by our team of professionals took about six hours. As you can see from the photos in the slideshow below, this was a large piece and required a lot of heavy lifting and attention to detail to get it right.
